It’s been a long time since I update this blog. I was planning to discontinue this blog but I received an important email from Jeremy Palmer today, writer of the High Performance Affiliate Marketing ebook, via the contact form. Here’s the excerpt.

There are two ways for you to create a contact page on your WordPress blog. The simplest way is just create a new page and write down your contact email in the page.

For example: Please contact me at youremail@yourdomainname.com

But by doing that, spammers could easily get your email address and start sending spam email to you.In my opinion, the best solution is to create a contact form in your WordPress contact page. Beside, your blog will look more professional either.

It’s been a long time since I write on this blog. I’ve been busy with other projects.

Here’s an interesting news I read from Reuters. As we all know, Amazon.com is the biggest online bookstore. Nowadays they are not only sells books but also other merchandise such as electronics, spare parts, apparels and others.

Amazon is planning to venture into selling farm goods such as vegetables, eggs and fish. They will be sold via AmazonFresh. Some of the items available are such as bunch of organic carrots with leafy tops for $1.79 and a 5 ounce steak for $1.99.

“It’s up and running,” said spokesman Craig Berman. “People are ordering and trucks are delivering.” He would not speculate, however, on when the program would be expanded.

I don’t know how they’re going to manage it since most of the goods are perishable especially the fresh foods.

If AmazonFresh expands, it would be competing with online grocers Peapod.com and regional services such as FreshDirect.com or YourGrocer.com in the New York area.

After I read a post at Sabahan.com, I quickly installed the plugin mentioned in the post which is Kontera Control plugin.

Before I joined PayPerPost, I’ve Kontera ads running on my blog. Once my blogs was accepted by PayPerPost, I had to remove Kontera ads since it’s against PayPerPost TOS to have another link running in a sponsored post from PPP. This is because I can’t control Kontera ads from appearing on PPP posts.

I didn’t earn much from Kontera but at least I did get few clicks. I was using Rodney’s Kontera DynamiContext plugin back then and I don’t have any control what so ever on where the Kontera ads appear. Read the disadvantage of using the plugin at Sabahan.com.

Google Inc. Chief Executive Eric Schmidt told reporters that litigation is the foundation of the media conglomerate, Viacom, which owns MTV Networks, Paramount movies studio, and video game developer Harmonix. This is because Viacom is suing Google and its video sharing site YouTube for $1 billion over “massive copyright infringement.”

Schmidt also mentioned that Viacom is a company built from lawsuit based on its history. Apart from that, he also commented that Viacom hired their general councel, Philippe Dauman, as their CEO.

With such comments from Schmidt, Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone responded that he preferred to resolve disputes outside of court despite a long history of suing rivals.
