To be ranked properly in search engines, repetition of your keywords is very important to your web pages. For example, a web page for a maternity clothing should have the word ” maternity” appear in the title, in level one header (h1), and at least twice in the first paragraph.
What you can do is for example, your keyword will appear a 1/2 dozen times in 20 paragraphs, NOT 20 times in one paragraph.
There are cunning ways of keyword stuffing, i.e. making sure that the keyword or keywords appear within every markup tag, as the name of image files, the name of other pages linked to other pages.
Search engines could easily identify and analyze whether the keyword density is occuring naturally or is forced.
