Be extra careful when you work with some search engine optimizers. Some unscrupulous optimizers would offer to send some additional web pages that they’d like to ad to your site. The web pages will reside on your web server and will be shown as part of your domain name. Their intention is to have the smallest links off your home page to those new contents that belong to them.
This i not a good idea especially for you. Every single things on your web pages, every page with your domain name should reflect the values of your own online business. The optimizers will put either link farm or gateway pages to your websites and they gain all the benefit of having all those keyword-optimized pages while you gain nothing. The only thing that you’ll gain is you’ll risk your corporate integrity and most probably will get you in trouble with the search engines.
