Hi Friends,
I was reading George Manty’s blog and I found a post that really caught my attention. It was about how few teenagers are getting rich because of their :
- Smart ideas
- Getting good advise from their mentor and
- Hard work
It’s a short article featuring a report by Jon Swartz who interviewed few successful teenagers such as Ben Casnocha, Sean Belnick and and Robin Liss.
Ben Casnocha who has a company called Comcate sell software he designed to the local government in the US. The annual revenue for Comcate is $750,000 and he is only 18 years old.
As for Sean Belnick, an ecommerce mogul, the founder of BizChair.com, is getting six-figure salary while still attending high school and college.
Besides the two above, check out Robin Liss’ website CamCorderInfo.com which is getting 400,000 unique visitors to her website. it’s not mentioned how much she’s getting but I’m sure it must be 6 figure also.
In conclusion, the keyword here is hard work. There’s no short cut to getting rich. If somebody is selling you a “get rich quick” scheme or product on the internet, you better be extra cautious.
