How To Troubleshoot Your Failing PPC Campaigns.

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

First of all check if you are getting the clicks because if not then you are not getting the traffic you need. If there’s no traffic, there’s no sale.

There are two things with the ad campaign, your ad copywriting and your maximum cost per click (CPC). If you set the CPC to low, maybe you aren’t getting the exposure. Try at least position number eight because that will put your ad on the first page in the search engine such as Google. Later you can gradually decrease when you have got the clicks.

But if you DO get top eight positions, and you still don’t get the clicks, then it could only be your ad copywriting. Here’s what you can do when that happens. Scrap all of the ads and start all over again.

Run your campaign with two or three ads at a time. When you do that, you can see which ad performs better, and later delete the low performing ones. And after you get a comfortable click-through-rate (CTR), keep the best one and scrap the rests.

When you do have clicks, but you are not getting any subscription then it’s definitely your name squeeze page. Maybe you need to change a few things in there. Try changing the headline or the photos.

But if you still aren’t getting subscriptions maybe the reason is some niches are more difficult than the others to sell. If you are going out of your normal niche market, then just realize that some niches are easier to get people to subscribe to your list, some are not.

Another way to overcome the problem is just create a landing page with a link to the merchant’s site, via your affiliate link. Now just wait to see if you can get any sales. Try waiting for 100 visitors before you decide to keep or to scrap this campaign.

I hope the steps above will help.
