Do We Need A Credit Card?

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I had my first credit card four years ago and I promise to myself that I will only use it when it is really necessary. Sometimes I broke my own promise :-) This has caused unnecessary debt for me and I was struggling to payback all my debt at that time.

Nowadays it is too easy to get a credit card and if not used carefully you will end up with lots of debt. You don’t have to apply for one anymore, instead the bank employee will come running to you to encourage you to apply from their bank or any of the financial institution they are working for.

With the growth of online shopping, you should be more wary on how to use your credit card. Even with my experience with my first credit card that I mentioned above, I still believe a credit card is a necessity as long as you know how to manage your expenditure. Without that credit card I won’t be able to start this blog anyway :-)

If you’re in the UK and you’re not sure what type of credit card to apply, you might want to check out CardGuide.co.uk for advise. It is a credit card comparison site where they list some of the most popular types of credit card offers in the UK, from balance transfer credit cards to cash back offers.

If you are still in doubt on having a credit card, you might want to read their article on the benefit of having a credit card.

Apart from that you can also read their guide on how to choose the best credit card type for your requirement.
