Yeah. It was about time my mid sized company in Austin had an on-line backup device.
Our data requirements were getting bigger and there was no doubt we needed a permanent solution. Moreover, we had recently acquired new customers and cannot take risks with their critical data. Being the Systems Administrator, the responsibility fell on my shoulders. I had to look into pros and cons of best on-line storage devices in the market.
That’s when I came across IDrive-E, an Online Backup service. Not believing their claims, I downloaded their free version and started trying it out. Some of the features immediately caught my attention. It had hands-free automated backup with no complicated scheduling procedures. It conducted fast and efficient backups by compressing data during transmission.
I could view, search and restore data backed up onto my account from the web client itself. Moreover IDrive-E Pro offered us ‘additional accounts’ option wherein we could create and manage multiple user accounts from a single administrative login and a central console. For efficient maintenance, our company could even group additional accounts into department wise categories. Soon I upgraded the free version to unlimited storage space for just $4.95/month to take care of my company’s entire backup needs. It was very easy! http://www.idrive.com
My sincere advice to System Administrators. Don’t wait. It might be too late!
