If you want to embed YouTube video to your Wordpress blog, I suggest you use Viper’s Video Quicktag plugin. This is the best YouTube plugin ever. You don’t have to write any code or whatsoever with this plugin. Once you activated the plugin, few quick icons will appear on your write post toolbar as shown. Just click the icon and it will ask the YouTube ID.
For example the YouTube URL from the video in this post is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seGhTWE98DU. So the ID is seGhTWE98DU.
Just copy and paste the ID from which ever YouTube video that you want and click OK. Then publish your post.
